Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on August 9 1976 the fourth child in the family. The actress was encouraged by her parents, dentist and a teacher, who both were teachers to pursue her passion to perform in theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to become a primate scientist because she was fascinated by monkeys. Her rise to stardom as an actress in her early years was rapid and highlighted by early success. When she completed her education as an actress, she was part of the French talent-scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. The show awarded her the Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career as an actor. Tautou studied at her school, the Institut Catholique de Paris, and she attended church as a young girl. But she's since moved away from her religious background. The actress claims she's not officially Catholic. With her acting work and modeling career, she has pursued a modeling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work for the Arles Festival in France under the title Superficial. She focuses her photography on famous people, the media and media that scrutinised her after her fame-making debut with Amelie. Also, she has a number of photographs featuring her self. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her debut performance as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie was a worldwide box office smash and was recognized at many international awards ceremonies. It is the most successful French language film to be released in the US. Following this massive success, Tautou starred in several films, which included British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. In addition, she was a part of Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
