Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office The Office, for which she won the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress as well as two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance in an Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in church plays when she was younger and was able to instill a love of performing and theater.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. Off-Broadway's production of Reasons for Being Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. After starring in Steve Martin's latest show Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy featuring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer's friend from real life and castmate, launched Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The podcast became wildly successful, ranking in the Top Ten of the world every week. It received over 200,000,000 downloads in its initial two years. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends There. This autobiography is about their friendship and the work they did on The Office.
